Wong Tak-Kin

Tak-Kin began his violin playing at the age of seven, and served as concert master in the strings orchestra of his high school.

He studied in Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts for both his diploma and bachelor degree under Mr. Ivan Chan. Shortly thereafter, Tak-Kin received full stipend to study Master degree in Kent State University, majoring in Chamber Music with Miami String Quartet. 

Tak-Kin performed in various cities in the United States, including a quartet live recording made with Kansas Public Radio in Kansas City. He has also participated in many music festivals throughout the world, such as Texas Music Festival, Kent Blossom Music Festival, Asian Youth Orchestra, Netherland Junior Orchestra etc.

Tak-Kin is now playing as a freelance musician in City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Hong Kong String Orchestra and numerous orchestras in Hong Kong.
